Good morning! I am excited to announce that I will now be sharing recipes on the blog! Parker and I have transformed to a healthy lifestyle after enjoying all the comfort foods you can possibly imagine during the first six months of our marriage. Pot roast, chicken and dumplings, heavy pastas, casseroles, you name it, we ate it.
Don’t get me wrong, we still enjoy some of those yummy treats (usually on the weekends), we’re just now living a more health-conscious lifestyle. It was hard to give up the unlimited carbs and sweets, but we’re to the point where our bodies crave fruits, vegetables and protein. We are consuming unlimited fruits and vegetables, limiting our carb intake and enjoying lean proteins. We eat 6 small meals a day in order to keep up our metabolism and prevent being hungry. We are slowly switching to non-processed and all organic foods, and it is definitely a learning experience! I’d love to hear from any of you who have any insight to offer!
